Introduction

As shown in the figure below, the pig signaller is a detectable uni-directional device, connected by an isolation valve and a flange. It features a manual reset flag and also provides an electrical signal. Once triggered, the flag can be reset by the operator. The signaller is designed to be inductive and can be easily pulled out with a simple retriever. This pig signaller operates mechanically.

As a detection instrument, the pig signaller is used to confirm the launch or arrival of the pig. It can be conveniently installed on the pipeline. The triggering of the signaller is designed to enhance flexibility.

The pig signaller is compatible with any pipe diameter. The flange size can meet customer needs, and the product is designed to withstand a pressure range from ANSI 150# to ANSI 1500#. It operates best at temperatures between -20°C and 120°C. For operations outside this temperature range, we can provide special seals.

The installation of the pig signaller must comply with specific instrument installation procedures and requirements. These include flange class, hole distribution specifications, etc. In addition, the distance from the top of the flange to the inner wall of the pipe should meet the design requirements.
