This innovative, mechanically operated, intrusive pig signaller is bi-directional, designed for vertical and horizontal pipeline mounting. The flag can change direction when cleaning pigs pass through. This feature allows operators to easily monitor pipeline cleaning status.
This is a type of mechanically operated, intrusive pig signaller that is bi-directional. The flag, which can be manually reset, is designed for both vertical and horizontal pipeline mounting. When cleaning pigs pass through the pipeline, the flag changes its direction. This feature provides a convenient way for operators to monitor the pipeline cleaning status.
The pig signaller is installed by a welded connection and it features an insert depth adjustment of 10mm. It is important to note that it cannot be removed while the pipeline is under pressure. The body of the pig signaller comes in a variety of materials to choose from including A105N, 304SS, 316SS, DSS, INCONEL, and others as per Material Requirement.

The pig signaller is employed to monitor the progress of cleaning pigs through various types of pipelines, including those used for oil, gas, water, and other substances.
Firstly, this pig signaller is bi-directional. Unlike uni-directional models, it can be triggered from either side. This means that regardless of whether the cleaning pig is moving in the launch direction or the opposite direction, its passage can be accurately detected and relayed by our pig signaller.
Secondly, this pig signaller is characterized by its welded base connection. This stands in contrast to flanged connections, which require the pipeline to have a matching flange. With our pig signaller, such a requirement is unnecessary. However, it’s important to note that the material of the welded base must be compatible with the pipeline material to ensure a successful welding process.
Thirdly, our pig signaller features an adjustable insert depth of up to 10mm. This allows for precise calibration following the welding process. In cases where fine adjustments are required after installation, the operator can easily modify the pig signaller‘s insertion depth. This feature ensures a more precise and accurate insertion into the pipeline.
