Introduction

This pig signaller falls under the category of intrusive pig signallers. It securely attaches to the pipeline via a flange, and the depth of its insertion can be fine-tuned, adjustable by up to 20mm. The signaller showcased here features a manual reset flag, complemented by electrical signals. Its trigger mechanism is bi-directional, but we also offer models with a uni-directional trigger, allowing for customization based on customer requirements. Intrusive pig signallers are designed to be installed within the pipeline, enabling them to physically engage with the pig as it navigates through the pipe.

This feature allows for remote reception of the signal, providing a convenient method of obtaining information about the pig’s passage during cleaning operations.Secondly, the insertion depth of the pig signaller is adjustable by up to 20mm. This adjustable feature enables a more precise insertion distance into the pipeline, enhancing the device’s flexibility and adaptability.Thirdly, this model employs a flange connection. Unlike welded pig signalers, where the base material must match the pipe material, a flange connection does not require the same material compatibility. It only needs to be of the same size to ensure a proper fit onto the pipe, increasing the ease of installation and compatibility with various pipe materials.Lastly, this pig signaller is bi-directional. Regardless of the direction of the pig’s movement, whether from the launching point or in the reverse direction, the pig signaller can accurately transmit the pig’s passage through the pipeline. This feature enhances the reliability of the device in diverse pipeline operations.
