Definition

The foam pig has an outer diameter that is approximately 3% to 5% larger than the pipeline’s inner diameter. It is made of a durable polyurethane material that offers excellent toughness and resistance. The foam pig’s  superior sealing performance creats a pressure differential between its front and rear, propelling it forward through the pipeline. 

Function of pig

(1) Remove liquid accumulation and debris (dust) in the pipe, reduce friction loss, and improve the transmission efficiency of the pipeline;

(2) Sweep away the sediment and corrosion products of the pipe wall to reduce under-scale corrosion;

(3) For many other uses such as pipeline inspection;
